Demitry is a Principal in a real estate valuation firm known as The Real Estate Consulting Group of Canada Ltd. (RECG). Demitry’s experience spans more than 30 years in the valuation field. He has an aptitude for understanding and simplifying complex valuation matters and is able to convey this in relatable terms to litigants. He currently holds a number of accreditations in the real estate valuation field – Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI, P. App), Professional Land Economist (PLE), and Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).

Demitry is a former lecturer with the University of British Columbia and taught the Foundations of Real Estate Valuation course from 2001 to 2005. He also developed and conducted numerous valuation and real estate mathematics seminars on behalf of the Appraisal Institute of Canada has been retained by other appraisers to consult with numerical analysis. Demitry is a frequent contributor on valuation related commentary.
