Cherrie Fielder

As a Family Professional, I bring several years of experience from my previous work as a Family Court Support Worker and Legal Support Worker, along with my private practice experience working with individuals struggling with their emotions related to anxiety, stress, parenting, childhood traumas, divorce, and grief.

I offer a compassionate, non-judgemental, open-minded, and attentive approach as a neutral member of the collaborative team, supporting clients to be their best self through the process. As a family professional, I help couples identify and resolve issues that can be emotionally and financially draining, support the collaborative team through the emotional aspects that may arise, and assist parents in creating and implementing effective co-parenting relationships and parenting plans.

I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work with the focus on Children and Families, I have completed Level 1 & 2 of the Collaborative Law training, along with a graduate level course in Family Mediation and several trainings related to Intimate Partner Violence and Family Law. I am a member in good standing of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, the Ontario College of Social Workers, Collaborative Practice Durham Region, and the International Association of Collaborative Professionals.
