Cherrie Fielder

As a Collaborative Law Family Professional, I bring several years of family law experience from my position as a family court support worker at a local non-profit agency supporting abused women involved in the family law process. As a neutral member of the collaborative family law team, my role is to help couples identify and resolve issues that can be emotionally and financially draining, support the collaborative team through the emotional aspects that may arise throughout the process, support parents in creating and implementing effective parenting plans, and when needed I can get the views and preferences of the children.

I also work with couples to foster effective co-parenting relationships and support you to be your best self through the process. I have completed Level 1 & 2 of the Collaborative Law training program along with a graduate level course in Family Mediation and several trainings related to Intimate Partner Violence and Family Law. I am registered with the OCSWSSW, Collaborative Law Durham Region and the IACP.
